A Hard Road With Blessings (The Dying Logs Day 24)
When I think of walking down a road I think of Robin Hood.
Other than King Arthur, I think Robin Hood was my most read book in elementary school.
In Robin Hood, the gang passes a man with bread. He says something I will never forget though I will butcher the quote…
If I eat this bread now I will be happy, but if I wait hours to eat it I will be joyful.
As we wonder this road physically and metaphysically this little parable is pertinent.
I know you and I know myself. Before you know it, unification will be that of joy not transitory happiness.
And when joy turns to sorrow, wisedom prevails. With the right mindset, with the blessings of God anything will pass.
One is not enough unless one is actually two linked. I try to learn everyday. I am so ignorant and thus I fight to be better.
